Carb

Part of Lemon Bomber

The Lemon Bomber is running a Mikuni VM20 carb. Current jetting is a 200 main and a 22.5 pilot, which appear to be stock or very close to it. When I first tore into it, the carb was in rough shape—surprisingly, there was water sitting in the float bowl despite the tank being dry and rust-free. Everything was fully disassembled and cleaned thoroughly, including time in the ultrasonic cleaner. After a good scrub, all passages are now clear and flowing properly. The floats checked out with no leaks or damage, which was a win. The only component that didn’t survive was the bowl gasket, but a full rebuild kit is already on the way. At this point, the carb is clean, reassembled, and ready for fresh seals and go back on the bike once the rebuild kit arrives.

I realized after I took this pic that the floats were upside down. It has been corrected.
