Head Job!

Part of 1978 R100/7 Side Car

Removing and disassembling the heads. Nothing alarming, a lot of carbon from running a little rich. This was after I had about 1000 kms on the rebuilt carbs and new ignition. I mayyyyyy have set my jet needle a little to short. Sent my heads to a friendly shop in Langley BC who specialize in old Airheads. https://shailsmotorcycles.com/ Don't send your airhead cylinder heads to a automotive shop... I say this because all the reading and youtube videos about it told me that. :) They are cleaning up the heads, cutting in new seats and pressing in new valve guides. They are also fixing some fin and valve cover damage that resulted from when I removed the side car and I stuffed it and the bike into a trailer. I will add more to that story in another section.
